Women Solidarity for Peace & Leadership
We are nonprofit organization based in San Francisco, CA, was founded on September 1, 2021, in Afghanistan by Afghan women youths, mostly living abroad. The idea for WSPL was conceived 14 years ago when two Afghan sisters in middle school dreamed of a larger vision to reduce discrimination, inequality, and violence against girls and women in Afghanistan. They envisioned creating a space where women can soar freely without risk of falling, and no one can clip their wings. WSPL aims to advocate for and amplify women's voices by uniting influential figures worldwide and developing programs that empower women and girls to reach their full potential.

Our Mission
How We Work
The WSPL's primary goal is to connect women around the world, coming from diverse professions, backgrounds, and stories. We implement this mission by hosting webinars and open panel discussions aimed at academics, nonprofits, influential women, and women leaders in various cities, states, and countries. We highlight women's issues for research, foster connections among women, and create a solidarity network from woman to woman.
Women Youth Leaders Committee
The purpose of the Youth Leaders Committee is to connect young leaders with women of power, influence, communication, and experience, with the aim of transferring knowledge to the next generation so they can lead their future. The committee will support young women worldwide in becoming leaders and changemakers, creating new opportunities for the next generation.
